Our team practices in our Coach’s garage, we have whiteboards covering the shelves to use for our various needs such as scoring, agenda, equations, ideas, etc. We use our surroundings to help like using the dolly to hold up the net behind our power-shot targets.
Living in Texas the weather is always interesting, 100° practicing with the doors open or even just setting up outside or in winter it can get below freezing, so every other practice we blow a fuse because of the multiple heaters being used along with all our other machines.
The garage has a leaky roof, so after practice we cover the robot in a World War 2 raincoat to keep it dry in case of rain, which can happen at any point with the weird weather Texas has, it could come out of nowhere.
